Meet The Team - Rebecca Mason

Rebecca mason

Rebecca has been with HGEM since 2012, making her a true pillar of knowledge and support within our team. As Guest Community Coordinator, she looks after our forums and also our reward scheme, sending out the appropriate gifts to any diners who have reached a certain amount of reward points. She also helps out the manager of the team whenever she’s needed, and is essentially our second in command.

Having worked twelve years within the company, Becca has seen HGEM go through a lot of changes – from the evolution of how we validate mystery visits, to the way the team itself has grown. She finds the people within the company are what really make it for her. She says that we’re a really supportive team, and everyone is always happy to help – whether you’ve been here for 12 days or 12 years, everyone seems comfortable to ask questions and throw in ideas! She also really enjoys getting to do the Reward Scheme, as it’s nice to give something extra to our assessors.

Outside of work, Becca tries her best to keep up with her lovely 4-year-old, who never stops (and who also stole our hearts recently during World Book Day by dressing up as Paddington). She also loves spending time with her family and going for walks, which sometimes involves one of her other hobbies – taking photos! Whether it’s pictures of her smiling 4-year-old, or the light catching on the clouds at sunset, she has a love for the lens – and has even sold some of her images. She is also a big lover of “bad TV” (her own words!), kicking back with a good episode of Love is Blind or Married at First Sight.

Becca likes to try out new recipes, and so generally prefers to eat in instead of out. Her favourite sort of cuisine to cook is Japanese, which reflects in one of her favourite mystery visits to read about – Shoryu Ramen! She also enjoys delving into reports on Peach Pubs, Dunkin’, and The Coaching Inn Group. For her most recent mystery visit, she got to visit one of the The Coaching Inn Group’s hotels, where she found the staff to be very friendly. She was also impressed with the range at the breakfast buffet, calling it fabulous!
